ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

16 years old or above
IELTS with minimum score of 6.0, or
Completed IGCSE / ‘O’ Level Certificate with minimum Grade C
Students who have three (3) years of relevant work experience may study for achieving the Diploma in Accounting and Business as part of the ACCA Qualification. Students who choose this route will need a minimum of three GCE ‘0’ Level and two GCE ‘A’ Levels in five separate subjects including Math or English or their equivalent.

COURSE SYLLABUS

The Diploma in Accounting and Business is awarded on the completion of exams Financial Accounting (FFA/FA), Management Accounting (FMA/MA) Accounting in Business (FAB/AB); and also an online ethics examination Foundations in Professionalism which can be taken directly from the ACCA website. The exams are based on the following papers:

FAB/AB - Accountant in Business
The syllabus for FAB/AB Accountant in Business introduces students who may not have a business background, to the business, which as an entity is made up of people and systems which interact with the environment and with each other.

FMA/MA - Management Accounting
The syllabus for Paper FMA/MA, Management Accounting, introduces candidates to elements of management accounting which are used to make and support decisions.

FFA/FA - Financial Accounting
The syllabus for Paper FFA/FA Financial Accounting introduces the candidate to the fundamentals of the regulatory framework relating to accounts preparation and to the qualitative characteristics of useful information.

COURSE DURATION

Full time student: 6 months
Part time student: 12 months

COURSE ASSESSMENT

You will be given Five sets of tests; at least Two progress test and at least Three mock exam for each paper. You will also receive daily class assignments and independent assignments.

MODE OF DELIVERY
